Next morning, Vahan unexpectedly sent an emissary, offering a truce.

في صباح اليوم التالي، أرسل فاهان مبعوثا يعرض هدنة، وهو ما لم يتوقعه أحد

For this ultimatum and sent the emissary back  without even considering a formal reply.  

لهذا الإنذار، وأعاد المبعوث دون التفكير في رد رسمي.
