اندفع خالد عدوًا بفرسه متجاوزا فرقة عمرو بن العاص لكي يطوق سلافيي قناطر

تعثرت قوات فرسان قناطر الثقيلة مع توقف الخيول لاشتمامها رائحة الجمال الهائجة

He ordered Amr to send his cavalry regiment and attack Qanatir’s flank from the north.

فأمر عمرو بن العاص بإرسال فوج فرسانه لمهاجمة جناح قناطر من الشمال

On the other side of the battlefield Amr rallied his forces and halted Qanatir’s advance,

أما في الجانب الآخر من ميدان المعركة حشد عمرو قواته وصد تقدم قناطر
