Inciting rebellions and defections among  Athenian allies in the northern Aegean,  

وحرّض على التمرد والانشقاق بين الحفاء الأثينيين في شمال إيجه

In the Aegean, and sail up into the Sea of Marmara.

في بحر إيجة، ثم الإبحار إلى بحر مرمرة.

Having already been actively attacking Ottoman pirates and shipping in the Aegean,

بعد أن كانوا يهاجمون بنشاط القراصنة العثمانيين والشحن في بحر إيجة،
