A good friend of mine wanted to write a poem dedicated to stoats, but gave up after realising he could never hope to create anything so beautiful that it would deserve to bask in the stoat glory.

Ein guter Freund von mir wollte ein den Hermelinen gewidmetes Gedicht schreiben, gab aber auf, nachdem er festgestellt hatte, dass er niemals auch nur hoffen könne, so etwas Wunderschönes zu schaffen, das würdig wäre, sich im Ruhm der Hermeline zu sonnen.
