Du bleu azur, du vert, du jaune, ajoutons l'aza rouge, voilà le drapeau amazigh !

The Berber flag has an upper band of blue like the Mediterranean Sea, then a green band like the plains of Tamazgha, and finally a yellow band representing the desert. Upon these stripes is superimposed the letter Aza (yaz) ⵥ, symbolizing the tifinagh, ancient writing of Imazighen, in red, representing blood and freedom.

Le drapeau berbère a une bande supérieure de couleur bleue comme la mer Méditerranée, puis une bande verte comme les plaines de Tamazgha, enfin une bande jaune représentant le désert. Sur ces bandes est apposée la lettre Aza (yaz) ⵥ, symbolisant le tifinagh, écriture ancienne des Imazighen, de couleur rouge, comme le sang et la liberté.
