‫لعلّه كان خيرة القادة ‫الذين عيّنهم ديوكلتيانوس

He was perhaps the most capable  commander Diocletian had at his disposal,  

‫فأرسل إلى ديوكلتيانوس على جناح ‫السرعة طالبا منه إرسال قوّات للإسناد

and sent urgent messages to  Diocletian for reinforcements .  

‫إذ كان الإمبراطور الذي يحكم المنطقة قيصر ‫غالاريوس الذي عيّنه الإمبراطور ديوكلتيانوس

The emperor in the vicinity was  Diocletian’s Caesar Galerius.  

‫فمنع بذلك نرسي من دخول الشام موفّرا ‫الوقت الكافي لوصول ديوكلتيانوس مع جيشه

preventing Narseh from entering Syria, just in  time for Diocletian to arrive with an army .
