Translation of "مَا" in English

لاَ تُكَلِّفُوهُمْ مَا يَغْلِبُهُمْ، فَإِنْ كَلَّفْتُمُوهُمْ فَأَعِينُوهُمْ.

Do not ask them to do things beyond their capacity and if you do so, then help them.

إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى.

The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended.

كَانَ أَجْوَدَ النَّاسِ وَكَانَ أَجْوَدُ مَا يَكُونُ فِي رَمَضَانَ.

He was the most generous of all the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of Ramadan.

هَلْ كُنْتُمْ تَتَّهِمُونَهُ بِالْكَذِبِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُولَ مَا قَالَ ؟

Have you ever accused him of telling lies before his claim ?

لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ.

None of you will have faith till he wishes for his brother what he likes for himself.

لَمْ يَأْتِ رَجُلٌ قَطُّ بِمِثْلِ مَا جِئْتَ بِهِ إِلَّا عُودِيَ.

Any Man who came with something similar to what you have brought was treated with hostility.

قالَ: أَعتَقِدُ أَنَّ اْلكَمَالَ قَبِيحٌ. فِي مَكَانٍ مَا فِي اْلأَشْياءِ الَّتِي يَجْعَلُونَ اْلأَشْخَاصُ أُريدُ أَنْ أَرَى نُدُوباً وَاْلفَشَلَ وَاْلفَوضَى وَاْلتَّحرِيفَ.

"I think perfection is ugly", he said. "Somewhere in the things that humans make, I want to see scars, failure, disorder, distortion."

قَالَتْ خَدِيجَةُ: كَلَّا وَاللَّهِ مَا يُخْزِيكَ اللَّهُ أَبَدًا إِنَّكَ لَتَصِلُ الرَّحِمَ وَتَحْمِلُ الْكَلَّ وَتَكْسِبُ الْمَعْدُومَ وَتَقْرِي الضَّيْفَ وَتُعِينُ عَلَى نَوَائِبِ الْحَقِّ.

Khadija said "Never! By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You keep good relations with your kith and kin, help the poor and the destitute, serve your guests generously and assist the deserving calamity-afflicted ones.
